Medior Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced, ambitious and enthusiastic software developer who with his current experience would like to grow further. You will take part in product development of our PlayToTV platform as well as develop project specific server extensions.
At the moment we are working with twenty-five people at our head quarter in the centre of Amsterdam. We are working in a close team with a great atmosphere.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience as Java Software developer
- Good Java API knowledge
- A degree in computer science or a related field ( BSc or MSc)
- Comfort level working within (and analyzing and improving) an established code base
- Fluent in Dutch
Pluses
- Experienced with developing software tailored/optimized for cloud hosting
- Experience with code and protocol optimization
- Able to work in a collaborative environment witg a team of higly skilled engineers
- Trought understanding of NoSQL
- Knowledge of RESTful Web Service development
- Programming language experience (Python, Ruby, JavaScript)
Our ideal candidate has also worked in the media/game sector and has besides Java also knowledge of MongoDB, and J2SE.
