Ex Machina is the second screen partner to Screenpop, a division of FremantleMedia, for their brand new, made-for-second-screen format: Intuition.



The Story

The first made-for-second-screen TV show

Intuïtie is a live, daytime gameshow in which the viewers are the contestants. Viewers can play for free using their laptop, tablet or smartphone. The show tests viewers’ gut instincts with picture-based questions on people and places. Everyone who takes part in the show wins prize vouchers; the number of vouchers won is determined by the audience’s average score.

Intuïtie (‘Intuition’ in English) has been developed by Screenpop, part of FremantleMedia, and uses Ex Machina’s PlayToTV platform. Intuïtie is produced in collaboration with Blue Circle, FremantleMedia’s production arm in Holland, and had a successful two-week initial run in Fall 2011.

Ex Machina´s PlayToTV-platform is the core of the Intuition format, the social gaming front- and back-end. With it´s unique online content management system and live operations Director Client, the producers are in complete control of the live game running in the TV studio as well as in the living rooms throughout the country. Ex Machina developed the HTML5 clients, suitable for PC, Mac, tablets and smartphones. We also provide the real time data such as amount of players, shown on TV, as well as the screen used in the V show for displaying questions, statistics and answers.
